Google Adsense is Losing Every Test Do you remember when you could make a few thousand dollars every month just by putting Google Adsense code on your medium to high traffic website. We all know those days are over. But certainly we can still make a little pocket change with Adsense; right? It still makes some money; right? The way to answer that question is to measure the income via other revenue streams that are lost when you add Adsense to your site and then measure how much you earn with Adsense. If you earn more with Adsense (by even one cent), then you lose from the other revenue streams, then Adsense is a winner. But if you earn less from Adsense (by even one cent) than you lose from the other revenue streams, then Adsense is DECREASING your income, not increasing it. Every single site is telling us the same story. Adsense is causing more loss in other revenue streams than it is earning. And it isn't just one cent either. Overall, here are the results we are seeing: Our average daily earnings from Adsense itself: $0.49Average daily earnings from other sources without Adsense code installed: $5.94Average earnings from other revenue sources with Adsense code installed: $1.21Having Adsense code on our sites is KILLING revenue from all other sources massively... and it isn't earning it's keep. The next version of the Internet Business Box will definitely have "no adsense code" as the default. We are even thinking of removing it as one of the Internet Business Box revenue streams completely. Adsense hasn't won ANY tests so far. What do you think? |
