IBB 3.0 Pricing
Kristi Daniels
I have been thinking about pricing models for the IBB 3.0 and would like your feedback.
One of my goals is to get percentage of how much the IBB 3.0 increases your bottom line. It will be under constant development in at least three areas:
1. Adding and deleting revenue sources (affiliate networks, cpa networks, etc.
2. Adding automated methods to increase traffic (we haven't talked about this yet, but an IBB 3.0 blog will naturally grow in traffic 100% automagically... we will be expanding on those functions constantly).
3. Changing the default template to the highest converting factors overall. Each blog evolves to to template (fonts, colors, layout, headers, etc) that is most profitable for it. But they all start out the same. We will be constantly monitoring winning templates that work across the entire network of blogs and changing the defaults to start right out with the factors with the highest chance of success.
So we will be working hard for your business every single day. New updates will automatically be installed on your blog (if you choose) about weekly that will increase your conversion rate on your products and services.
So this will not be a "one-time" charge. It is more like a service. Although we may also offer a snapshot of the code base as a "one-time" fee, but that fee will be very high and won't be the model that we will be focusing on marketing.
There are a wide variety of users out there. Some will want to create 300 blogs on different topics. They will prefill each with 20-50 articles from an article directory and then just let them optimize and make them money.
Others have a product they are selling. They might create 10-20 IBB blogs that are designed as traffic feeders sites back to their main sales letter. They will be "advertising" on their own blogs.
Still others may want to create one mega-site that sells multiple products as well as the built-in revenue streams of the IBB.
And others may want to flip sites. They will buy domains, install the IBB on them and wait a month or two before selling it for 100 times the price they paid because now it has traffic and content.
So we need multiple pricing models.
Here are my initial thoughts on the pricing models to be offered:
$10 monthly/50% of revenue generated by IBB
In this model, the customer pays only $10 per month and can install the IBB 3.0 on as many sites as they wish. They can sell those sites, but for the IBB to continue to function for the buyers, the buyers would have to sign up for the same plan.
The IBB 3.0 keeps track of revenue that it produces (that is how it does the multi-variate testing), so it knows how much it produced each month. An invoice is generated for 50% of the revenue at the end of the month.
This plan is almost risk free. You risk only $10/month and pay the 50% only on revenue produced by the IBB.
$100 monthly/10% of revenue generated by IBB
This plan would be for those who know the IBB is worth at least $100/month for their business and they only want to pay 10% of their revenue generated back to us.
$1,000 month/1% of revenue generated by IBB
Of course you would be able to switch plans as your business grew, so you could start out with the $10/month plan and work up to the $1,000/month plan.
All of those plans receive obfuscated code.
Some may want the source code and the ability to change it and do their own thing. In other words, they would want to "own" it.
We'll have a one-time price for them too, but won't be offering that initially.
What about the beta testers?
This isn't really a one-time beta test. We need active beta testers who will actively use the software and report on issues they find. We probably need a group of 5 to 10 active beta testers at any one time.
We will provide them the software for free for as long as they are actively involved in using the software and reporting issues they find.
Right now, we have three beta testers and I would like to see at least two more. If you are interested in receiving the IBB software for free (no monthly fee or revenue sharing fee), then leave a comment in this thread and we'll add you to the customer list so you can access the restricted access blog posts that document how the IBB works and give you access to the software.
If you are just waiting for our first release and aren't interesting in being a beta tester, then I would like to hear your feedback on our pricing plans.
Which would most interest you? Are you looking for a cheap monthly plan and willing to pay a large percentage of profits generated? Or would you be more interested in a higher monthly fee in return for keeping a higher percentage of profits?
Thank you in advance for your feedback. It is always appreciated!
