Internet Business Box version 3.2 beta 0212 We just released Internet Business Box version 3.2 beta 0212. This is a beta version, so install with caution. Leave a comment to this blog post if you run into any problems. There is only one new feature over the released version 3.1. The new feature automatically backs up your article files (your blog posts) to your corporate site. Backups are something better handled by an automated computer task than by humans who can forget and get bored with tedious tasks. This new feature continues to embrace the idea that you should focus on creative tasks (like creating original content) and allow the system to handle all of the tedious tasks. The backup files are named starting bak- followed by the domain that was backed up followed by another dash, then the folder and the filename that was backed up. To restore a destroyed site, just re-install the Internet Business Box software and then upload the backed up files to the specified domain and folder. Rename them to remove the bak-, domain name and folder name from the filename. That's it. The most important parts of your site are restored. The system will automatically rebuild your blogroll, site directory and all parts of the site that it built in the first place. This removes one more task from your "to do" list and allows you to continue to focus on posting quality content. |
