Selling Traffic We are working on a new revenue stream for the Internet Business Box. You will be able to sell traffic by the click (pay per click or PPC). We expect this to be one of the biggest revenue streams for a few reasons including: 1. Being able to get instant feedback to the multi-variate testing software will allow for faster optimization of this revenue stream. Instead of getting a sale per day of a $100 product, the multi-variate software will get a hundred times that number of "events" in the form of clicks. 2. Selling PPC traffic is a proven business model that has beaten every other business model on the entire Internet for years now. Take a look at the top 10 sites by revenue on the entire Internet. Their business model is selling traffic by the click! 3. In a poor economy, businesses and individuals shrink their budgets in almost everything.... except traffic. Traffic is the lifeblood of any business and it would be foolhardy to reduce your ad spend during rough times. Instead, you demand more accountability. We'll be providing that. 4. The largest companies on the 'net use a PPC business model that includes bidding. Some would argue that bidding means they optimize the amount of money they can earn to it's maximum given the amount of traffic they have to offer. I would argue that they are shooting themselves in the foot by using the bidding system. The bidding system ensures that they will eventually lose EVERY customer due to the cost of traffic rising about the profitability number for any particular business. We won't be doing that. Companies that sell traffic for a flat rate enjoy life-long customers and reliable income. It is even more important in today's economy to sell traffic at a fair price and a fixed price that customers can count on being profitable. While Google slaps their customers, we will sell them profitable traffic and they will love us. 5. We will use the latest multivariate processes that optimize for maximum dollars per day for Internet Business Box customers. When you put Adsense on your site or Clickbank links, you lose traffic. We don't know why. Maybe the search engines penalize sites with those links. It doesn't matter why. Our "dollars per day" optimization method protects us from making bad decisions like using Adsense or Clickbank for revenue. It will do the same for how links to PPC customers are presented. If they cause a traffic loss that causes an IBB powered site to be less profitable than not having that customer or not showing that customer's links in a particular way... then the software will "fix" it for maximum profitability for the Internet Business Box customer. 6. We won't be using ugly tracking links that look like this: InternetBusinessBox.com/track/?affil=849205dgf24 That's just dumb. We will track using the latest technology built into the Internet Business Box software. It doesn't require tracking links. If your site is MusicBox.com and you want to send traffic to the home page, the links throughout our network of sites for you will look like this: We are already capturing all of the events necessary to know when someone clicks on your link. We don't need an ugly tracking link for that. That means that advertisers will also get the benefit of having a direct link to their site. It means that Internet Business Box powered site owners will get more PPC customers because they recognize how much better our PPC system is than any of the competition. Stay tuned.
