The Internet Lifestyle
Kristi Daniels
I just met a new friend at a beach restaurant. We just happened to select hammocks that were close to each other so we decided to exchange stories.
He started out with "Where are you from?" That was my first clue that he might also live the Internet lifestyle. Most people start a new conversation with "What do you do?" The "Where are you from?" is usually reserved for when you are obviously not from the same place.
We were both obviously Americans or Canadians so after we exchanged pleasantries, I asked him if he was retired or lived the Internet lifestyle.
His answer was typical for someone living the Internet lifestyle. He asked "is there a difference?"
Of course there is a difference. Those of us living the Internet lifestyle still do something whether it is setting up new web-sites, finding a new service provider in India or writing as I am doing now. Retired people generally don't do anything to earn their income, but then again... you usually don't find them as young as me or this gentleman... nor do you find them spending extravagant amounts of money like we were doing.
I answered "No. I guess not."
Our conversation continued on the lines of what we actually did do. I am in town for just a few hours. I'm currently taking a cruise and this was one of the ports. He is in town for a couple of weeks. This is a regular haunt of his and he passes through town for a couple of weeks at a time two or three times a year.
We are both what some people call "perpetual travelers" although we both have our favorite haunts where we spend three or four months out of the year.
His Internet business focuses on import/export so he actually makes contacts and does a little work whenever he pulls into a new place. There are hundreds of kinds of Internet businesses. Some require more work than others. In his case, he works about two hours per week. I work only about an hour per week.
Timothy Ferriss is famous for writing his "Four Hour Work Week" book which was a best seller. Still some doubted the possibility of working only four hours per week to earn their income.
I personally work less than four hours per week on the Internet and earn more than I'll ever need or want. I meet people just about every week in my travels who do the same. You can too.
There is no law against living live to it's fullesst. There are no laws against traveling and laying in hammocks and meeting new people. There are no laws against working as little as you wish and earning as much as you want.
All of those limitations are self-imposed and so those self-imposed limits can be rewritten... by you.
You can get started with your own Internet Business Box software. It is only $100/month and the average new customers who posts at least daily (original quality content) earns an average of $402 per month after just the first month. That's a four hour work week right there if you can post about something you are passionate about once a day and take only a half an hour (easy if you pick something you are passionate about).

I would love to meet you as we lay lazily in hammocks sipping marguaritas and looking out across the beautiful cove marred by nothing other than the cruise ship I came in on. That's the Internet lifestyle.
