Web Hosting Recommendations We currently recommend the following two hosts for use with the Internet Business Box: Both have been proven over time and the multi-variate testing software shows them to be profitable. We don't recommend these hosts: Both meet the requirements of the Internet Business Box and seem like fine hosting companies, but the Internet Business Box software showed that the average Internet Business Box powered web-site hosted by these two hosting companies was NOT profitable. How can that be? Maybe it is down-time although we have actually seen more down-time with TraverseGlobal.com and Kualo.net than we saw with HostGator.com and BlueWho.com. Maybe it is reputation with the search engines. We do see a LOT of scam sites hosted with HostGator. It could be that the search engines are using web hosting for ranking purposes. But search engine traffic is only 15% of traffic for the typical Internet Business Box powered web-site. The fact is that we don't know what causes one web hosting company to be profitable and another to be unprofitable. If you own a hosting company and would like to be listed among our recommended web hosts for the Internet Business Box (and we haven't already tested your hosting company and found it to be unprofitable), then leave a comment to this blog post. Allow us to host seven sites for free with your web hosting company and we'll do the evaluation for free. If your web hosting company is profitable, we'll tell all Internet Business Box users about it and you'll get a lot of new business from us. If not, we'll have to tell them that your hosting company isn't profitable for the average Internet Business Box user. It won't cost you a thing to have us evaluate your hosting company. The seven sites you give us free hosting for can reside on a shared hosting server and we don't take up very many resources. If you have already been evaluated and found to be unprofitable for the average Internet Business Box user, you can get us to evaluate you again for a $500 fee to cover our time and the evaluation. Remember that we have to host seven sites with your hosting company that could be making money by being hosted elsewhere, but the prior evaluation proved that your hosting service caused them to be unprofitable in our prior tests.
