What is the Internet Business Box?

Internet Business Box

You can view the Internet Business Box in a lot of different ways.

Foremost it is meant to be an all-inclusive platform for running ANY Internet Business with as much automation as possible and always looking at increasing periodic income (the multivariate testing software using dollars per day as it's optimization metric).

After the 48 second installation, you are in business with your new web-site. All of the software you will need to blog, exchange links with others, create and sell information products, sell advertising space on your site, run a membership only site and even selling the site itself will be available to you.

You can also view the Internet Business Box as a blogging platform that was designed from the ground up to make you money. Your new site will be a blog.

Blogs are the most effective method we currently know to make money using ANY business model on the Internet. I know that may sound foreign to you, but it is true. Underlying all of the Internet Business Box software is a multivariate testing solution which is always testing fonts, colors, content on your site and site layout among other things. If blogs ever stop being the most effective method to sell things on the Internet, then the site will automatically morph to the layout and content that replaces blogs. That is how we know blogs are currently the most effective method of selling things on the Internet. You see... we simply unleashed this software and watched as a sales letter (you can see that original sales letter running on an earlier version of the IBB at FadDietsThatWork.com) slowly morphed into what we eventually recognized and embraced as a blog.

Many experts will tell you that a sales letter is the best way to sell something on the Internet. They are living in the past. Sales letters were invented for direct mail campaigns via postal mail. The idea was to write a letter to the prospect telling them about your offer. They later evolved to a format useful for print magazines and full page newspaper ads. They were and are useful on the Internet.

But they are NOT the most effective way to sell on the Internet. You see, they embrace a sales mentality whereas most Internet users are in an explore and order mentality.

Here are three of the highest converting sites on the Internet:

http://www.Schwanns.com

http://www.ProFlowers.com

http://www.Quixstar.com

The top one converted over 50% of the visitors to that site in January 2009. The bottom one still converts over 20% of it's visitors to customers.

The world is changing. People no longer want to be sold and they refuse to allow you to interrupt them and push them into buying something. The best sales letter based sites out there claim at most 8% conversion rates on similar priced items.

People want to be able to browse and explore and not to have a pushy salesman tell them what they want. They want to decide when it is time to place their order like in a restaurant. They want to be served instead of being sold and they are voting in increasing numbers with their wallets.

This is true even in the offline world. Barnes and Noble is the most profitable book store now even though traditionally pushy salesmen were never involved in the book selling market. You traditionally went into a bookstore and selected a book and took it to the register. There were no pushy salespeople anywhere. But the founders of Barnes and Noble recognized that there was an implied pushiness to the process. The isles were close together and although it was considered OK to pull a book out and look briefly at it, the average customer could feel the eyes peering at them and the pressure to only glance at it before either replacing it and selecting another book or taking the book to the cash register to buy it. There was no place to sit. You were not to have a comfortable exploratory visit to the book store. You were to select a book and take it to the cash register to pay for it and leave.

Barnes and Noble turned the industry around by putting comfortable chairs and couches in the store along with a pleasant open atmosphere and even a coffee shop. Even the cash registers and the book shelves are placed so that you feel no pressure from peering eyes of the cash register employees while you browsed the books. You were free to explore and sit down and read an entire chapter or two before deciding. The result was explosive in terms of their sales.

The same thing is happening on the Internet. It is happening with blogs. Just about every company has embraced a blog because it allows them to get new messages to their prospects and allows their prospects to give them feedback in the comments.

Unfortunately blogs weren't designed to sell. They were designed for non-commercial use so it is difficult to do some of the most basic business tasks such as multivariate testing and email contact management tasks.

Sure, plug-ins are being created for some of those tasks, but they are rarely being created by actual entrepreneurs. And the entire plug-in concept is a huge kludge. The more plug-ins you install for your Wordpress blog, the more unstable and insecure it becomes.

Most medium and large businesses have thus moved to in-house developed systems for their blogs. That has helped, but small one-person to ten person online businesses still have no blogging platform that is designed from the ground up to make money.

The Internet Business Box has changed the rules. It is that blogging platform that is designed from the ground up to make money. And it isn't designed to be run off to the side like most businesses have been running their blogs. It is designed to be your all in one online business solution. It handles everything for you with perfect integration with your blog... because the blog is now the actual selling platform instead of something off to the side that is designed to support the sales process. It is the sales process.
